Participants will experience turning old t-shirts into yarn, and use the Tee Knitter to reknit the yarn into different objects. During the knitting process, participants could learn how to integrate upcycling into our daily lives.

Remark: Participants need to bring along with 1 to 3 T-shirt (Cotton or polo t-shirt preferred).

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Alize Lam is a product designer specialising in upcycling using a variety of recycled materials to respond to social issues through design. By designing a series of DIY kits, Alize hopes to inspire people to learn making products from the ground up, and to understand the deeper relationship between people and products - beyond mere transactions, but a valuable experience and process in itself. Offering an eye-opening alternative for those who are too used to blindly consuming and discarding items every day.
