Co-organised by Quarryside and creative partner Artists Co-op, a series of Upcycled Lantern Workshop has been held in mid-September. With the instruction and artistic touch-up by Artists Dio and Elephant, the workshops aim to co-create a large multimedia upcycled lantern installation “Light up Quarryside” with local neighbours and general public.

The artwork created by participants will be part of the installation and there will be a showcase at Quarryside from 29 Sep to 1 Oct. Lighing session will be held on 29 Sep evening, celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with all!

Quota: 10-15 person per session

As this series of workshop addresses all's creativity, Quarryside enourages all the participants bring along with upcycled materials to make their own art piece.

Remarks:
*Aging 11 or below must be accompanied by their parents or guardian and create 1 artwork in the workshop.
*Finished artwork will be kept in Quarryside for the artistic touch up and group together as a large installation. Participants will be invited to attend the lighting session on 29 September evening.
*Participants can come to Quarryside and get back their artwork after the showcase during 3 to 7 October. If the artwork is not collected within the designated period, it will be considered as forfeited.

*Due to limited space, the selection will be decided by drawing lots if there is a strong response to the registration.
*The organiser will take photos and videos for participants during the event and use the photos and videos for the purpose of promotion and publicity. Should the participants do not agree with such arrangement, please inform our staff on the day of visit.
